Seller Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Big Value Shop terms and conditions page for Sellers. Any individual or entity who wishes to sell products on Big Value Shop must agree with these terms and conditions for Sellers without any modifications. BY UTILIZING THIS WEB PORTAL. YOU:

  • ON YOUR BEHALF OR THE UNIT THAT YOU SIGNIFY, YOU ACCEPT TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS WEBSITE, ALONG WITH ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS INTEGRATED BY REFERENCE; AND
  • WARRANT AND REFERENCE THAT WE ARE EXPRESSLY CERTIFIED TO BIND THE SELLER TO THIS AGREEMENT.

Order and Pricing:

The Sellers are hereby informed that:

  • All the products which are listed on our platform should have a competitive price than other platforms.
  • Order once placed by the customer needs to be facilitated within 24 hours of the ordered time. If there is any change in the stock of any product or in case of unavailability, Sellers need to inform us prior order placement, otherwise, a penalty may be implemented.

If any of the cases happen, then Seller will be held responsible for that.

Shipping and Commission:

Seller is liable for paying for the transportation of the product to the customers and applicable commission. The Seller hereby needs to accept that:

  • If the product is successfully delivered to the customer, then Seller will pay applicable commission (10% of the order value) along with the shipping cost.
  • In case of RTO (Return to Origin), if the product has been returned because of any reason, then Seller will be liable to pay for the reverse shipment as well.

Shipping will be done by third party companies, so there can be instances of extra shipping charges because of reasons like weight discrepancies. In this situation:

  • If the Seller is responsible, then the Seller will be liable to pay all the extra costs, and a penalty may be imposed on the Seller for repeated behavior.
  • However, if the Seller feels that he is not guilty, then he will provide all the supporting documents and pictures to us as per type of the situation, complexity and legality involved, so that we can take a stance against the dispute raised by the other party on the Seller’s behalf but without any assurance or commitment of winning the case.

In case Seller wants to opt self shipment for prepaid orders, Seller will be responsible for any delays, rejection, refunds, reimbursement, customer complaints, and reverse pickups. The applicable commission will be imposed on all such orders.

Product Images/Information & Representation:

Seller has to provide all the necessary information to us before listing of his product by us on our platform. It includes any warning or product information needed by law to be revealed in any sale or product’s advertisement. Seller is hereby informed to:

  • Provide all the listing details and images of the actual product in a proper format.
  • Photos of the actual product should be provided by the Seller before shipping.
  • Seller will be responsible for sending all the related accessories, correct model, content, and quality checked product as mentioned in the description and also needs to ensure proper packaging of the shipment in order to avoid any damage during transit.
  • If there is unavailability of an ordered product, Seller will be given an opportunity to provide a substitute to suggest the customer in place of the actual product and update the stock as per future availability.
  • The Seller should give content description & image of the product. Although, Seller can take the help of Big Value Shop in writing the product description.
  • In case we write product descriptions based on seller inputs, the Seller needs to ensure correctness. The quality of the product needs to be maintained accordingly.

If there is any frequent miss on above mentioned guidelines, then we have the right to impose a penalty on the Seller.

Product Return and Replacement:

There are certain instances that Sellers need to agree with and should be taken care of:

  • If a customer wants to return or replace a product, then adequate chance and prior information will be shared with the Seller, and an opportunity to console will also be provided. However, the last decision will be of management based on the wordings of the customers.
  • In case of intimation, if a product is facing a challenge in delivery due to the unavailability of customer, customer is dicey, or the customer is asking lots of questions, then prior information will be provided to the Seller to prepare for these types of situations.
  • In case of extra shipping cost & any reimbursement involved due to Seller’s mistake or Quality concerns that leads to return, replacement, reimbursement or refund of a product, Seller will be held responsible, and the extra cost or penalty will be beared by the Seller.
  • Ensuring proper packaging of the product to avoid any damage of goods while in transit is the sole responsibility of Seller. We bear no liability as we can’t monitor the packaging and transit process.

Communication:

The Seller will accept that he could not make any type of communication directly with any customer outside this platform in any situation unless a proper written approval is provided by us. If found out, strict action would be taken and a penalty will be imposed by us on the Seller. Repeated instances may lead to discontinuation of service from our end.

Revisions; Continued Use:

We keep the right to modify or change any of the terms of this Agreement, along with the terms of any resources integrated herein (unless if not stated by us in such resources), in our sole discretion and at any time. Any modifications will be effective upon the prior to occurring of:

  • Emailing the reviewed terms, or notice of such modifications, to Seller at his provided email address; or
  • Publishing the reviewed terms on this website.

Seller is accountable for reviewing any revised terms, and any notices of modifications. CONSTANT LISTING OF SELLER’S PRODUCT ON THIS WEB PORTAL FOLLOWING OUR EMAILING OR PUBLISHING OF ANY REVISED TERMS, OR ANY ADVANCE NOTICE OF SUCH MODIFICATIONS, WILL CONSTITUTE HIS APPROVAL FOR THE MODIFICATIONS. IF SELLER DO NOT AGREE TO ANY MODIFICATIONS OR CHANGES TO THIS CONTRACT OR THE PROGRAM POLICIES, SELLER MUST AVOID THIS WEB PORTAL AND INFORM US TO STOP HIS PRODUCT LISTING AND GIVE US A NOTICE IN WRITTEN AS WELL.
